Hello my name is Regan and I live in Hawai’i. I’ve had the opportunity to serve on two ARMS missions trip in the past two years.
On each occasion I’ve seen firsthand the great need, both physically and spiritually, the people we minister to have. I’ve witnessed their willingness to hear the gospel when presented to them.
I believe ARMS is a powerful tool for advancing the Kingdom of God through first ministering to the people’s physical needs and then sharing the gospel with them. It’s an opportunity for anyone to plant and water seeds and even for some to reap the harvest; if only you’re willing to invest a couple of weeks.
If God is speaking to your heart to give of your time, talent, and treasure then I believe He will use you in ways you’ve never imagined. Come join us for a life changing adventure and see how God can use you for His glory.

ARMS taught us how to be the hands and feet of Jesus.

Greetings from the Cuneo family, located in Eastern Oregon, USA! We are now a family of six, but when we began our journey with ARMS, it was just the two of us.
Michael was first introduced to ARMS while on deployment in Japan in 2013. One of the team leaders invited us to join the medical missions trip the following year. Little did we know all the ways God would use us and grow us over three trips. We served in every department throughout the trips alongside people we now consider family from around the world. ARMS taught us how to be the hands and feet of Jesus, how to look beyond our perspective and have gratitude, and a glimpse of what Heaven looks like as we worshiped together every day.
Devotions with the team, the lame walking, the deaf and mute speaking the name of Jesus, and the overcoming of fear and shedding of bitterness are just a few of the places we saw the work of the Holy Spirit.
Our time with ARMS influenced both our faith and career choices. Michael now serves our community as a Paramedic/Firefighter, and Ally is an Emergency Department Nurse. We are in a season of raising young children. It is our goal to return to the team with our family to teach our children how to serve alongside brothers and sisters from around the world.

I was given the opportunity through a local church to work with ARMS, ministering to the people of Palawan in May of 2025. A close friend of mine donated all my expenses, including airfare, so the 10,000-mile trip was an easy decision.
ARMS provided all the necessary information, from luggage packing to a suggested airfare itinerary and everything else in between. After coordinating several smaller mission trips myself, I can say that ARMS had their planning ducks in a row!
The only thing I was responsible for was making sure our team arrived in Manila on time. ARMS had all the hotel accommodations, transportation, and meals already booked. Because those in-country accommodations were arranged in advance, our team could focus on ministering wherever we went.
One hundred fellow ministers, medical professionals, and Christian military personnel made it possible to assist over 3,000 Filipino people over six full days in six different locations on Palawan. In fact, over 1,700 people on this trip alone made Jesus Christ their Lord and Savior!
If you are looking to experience an effective, trouble-free short-term missionary trip, I highly recommend attending an ARMS event. It is an experience of a lifetime and highly rewarding!

Attending ARMS was the biggest honor I’ve ever had.

Attending ARMS was the biggest honor I’ve ever had. I went in place of my late grandfather, who at the time was too ill to go and asked me to go for him. I was nervous. I had never traveled so far from home, especially with strangers. I knew God was calling me, so I went.
Everyone I met was Christ-driven and welcomed me with open arms. As one of the youngest there, people guided me as we served the communities. Each day we woke up early, and sometimes we were sick, but we pushed through by the power of Jesus Christ. He fueled our determination and lifted our spirits.
There were times the communities felt far from the word of God, and I felt the weight of that. My ARMS family kept me strong. They prayed for me, and God gave me peace and strength to keep serving.
ARMS becomes a family, bonded by serving people for the glory of Jesus and the word of God. I pray each day that I might help someone in some way. God gave me that chance through ARMS, and I could not have felt more blessed. There are people who need help and have never known the power and beauty of God’s love. ARMS gives them that chance. If God is calling you, come join us.

My first mission trip was many years ago, when I was a young Christian. Serving in the Philippines changed my life. I am thankful I stepped out of my comfort zone and answered God’s call. That trip gave me a clearer view of what it means to live by faith. It was not about what I was going to do or accomplish. It was, and always will be, about God’s plan and purpose.
It has been a blessing to serve with my family and with the brothers and sisters of Asian Relief Medical Services. More than 30 years ago, God gave the founding pastor a vision, and his legacy is still reaching the unreached. ARMS provides free medical and dental care on these trips. I am not a doctor or a dentist. I am ready to serve in whatever way God asks.
I have seen God move through ARMS. Physical needs are met, and so are spiritual needs. We serve side by side. Many people have responded to the gospel of Jesus Christ, and I have witnessed miracles of healing. Over the years God has used ARMS in the Philippines, Cambodia, and Colombia.
There is a place for you, in whatever way you can serve. Come join us. To God be the glory.

My name is Keith Hinds, and I’m from Maryland. I have been a volunteer with Asian Relief Medical Services since 2001, serving in communities across the Philippines. A member of my church first invited me to join a short-term mission trip, and I said yes, not knowing that ARMS would become a yearly part of my life for more than two decades.
Each year I look forward to returning and serving. What excites me is serving beside people who have been coming back for years, and meeting the new volunteers. Watching them experience the mission for the first time reminds me of my own first trip in 2001.
God has used ARMS to deepen my compassion and strengthen my faith. Obedience often begins with a simple yes, like the one I gave in 2001.
